Sacred Geometry

For as long as 5 millennia, scholars, intellects, monks, shamans, medicine men, healers and mystics have held sacred regard for the spine in its relationship to the energy centers of the body. The energy centers of the body were mapped and interpreted by various cultures and civilizations. One ancient culture for example, compiled their knowledge into the Kabbalah, which depicts the Tree of Life as a metaphysical diagram representation of the natural geometry of humans and other living things.

There is an intimate relationship between the spine and the master control system of all bodily functions, also understood as the nervous system. Any displacement of the vertebral structure will often cause nerve irritation and dysfunction. There is not always pain associated with nervous system dysfunction, and the autonomic division of the nervous system is often the first affected. Autonomic nervous system dysfunction an example of how the body’s overall tone can be affected by the alignment of the spine. The autonomic division of the nervous system is responsible for all of our critical and thoughtless processes from heart beat to blood chemistry, to the firing of postural muscles in your back. Dysfunction of the nervous system can cause muscle tone changes that may progress to further musculoskeletal issues, nervous system dysfunction can also create changes in emotional and mental tone. Even subtle changes in posture will distort geometric relationship between the body’s natural forming weight bearing structures.

When the spine is brought back into alignment, it releases the obstructing forces, releases the patterns of adherent tones, and allows the body to maintain sacred geometric patterns that will optimize health through maximized nervous system function.
